At this year’s exhibition, more than 1,200 domestic and foreign companies will participate and showcase 30,000 technologies and related products, including high-tech medical devices, hospital facilities, medical information systems, healthcare, and medical supplies.
In particular, the Ministry of Science and Technology and KAIST are planning to display a total of 10 types of Korean-style quarantine packages by installing the’K-Defense Prevention Special Pavilion’ at this exhibition, as well as making efforts for early commercialization.
Exhibits include △mobile negative pressure ward △Smart protective clothing cooling ventilation system △Real-time photothermal PCR molecular diagnosis system △Artificial intelligence software that quickly diagnoses infectious diseases by analyzing changes in the severity of pneumonia by analyzing patient’s chest X-ray image data △Medical low-temperature plasma sterilizer △ Self-isolation protection kit △mobile cyclone negative pressure pump △antiviral filter and submicron fiber manufacturing facility.
Vice Minister Jeong Byeong-seon visited the exhibition hall on the 18th and said, “The Korean quarantine package technology development project has developed products that meet the needs of the field, such as mobile negative pressure wards, even during a short business period, and has established itself as a successful cooperation model for the research and development projects “Please continue to make efforts for early commercialization so that it can be quickly utilized in the quarantine field.”
