Jota hoped for the recovery of his teammate Patrisiu.

Liverpool won the Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-0 in the round 28 of the ‘2020-2021 England Premier League’ held in Wolverhampton Molynew on March 16 (Korean time).

Starting striker Diogo Jota contributed to the team victory by opening the goal with a fast-tempo shot in the counterattack situation in the extra time in the first half.

In an interview with the British sports media’Skysport’ after the game, Jota said, “Life is the most important. I hope Hui Patrisiu recovers quickly.”

Wolverhampton goalkeeper Patrisio, who is also a teammate of Jota’s Portuguese national team, was unconscious after colliding with a fellow defender at the end of the second half, and was thrown on a stretcher.

Then Jota explained the scoring situation, saying, “We have to gain an advantage when the opponent’s balance is broken, and there was a moment. Good move, good goal,” explained the scoring situation.

Liverpool came to sixth place with a victory that day. It’s still not meeting expectations. Jota said, “We need improvement in many competitions and we hope today will be the beginning of a good last-minute march of the season.” (Photo = Diogo Jota)
