Lim Sung-jae tied for 7th, Arnold Palmer Invitational 2R touted… 1st and 4th hits

Lim Seong-jae (23, CJ Logistics) performed well on the second day of the American Professional Golf (PGA) Tour Arnold Palmer Invitational (total prize money of $9.3 million).

On the 6th (Korean time), Seongjae Lim tied 1 Eagle, 3 Birdies, 1 Bogie, and 1 Double Bogie in the second round of the tournament held at Bayhill Club & Lodge (par 72,7454 yards) in Orlando, Florida, USA. He recorded 70 strokes under par.

Lim Sung-jae, who recorded a total of 139 strokes under a 5 under par, was tied for 7th place with Paul Casey (England). Leading Corey Connors (Canada) with a 9-under-par 135, and four shots.

Im Seong-jae, who was named’Top 3’in this competition for the second year in a row, is also cruising in this competition. After winning the Honda Classic in March last year, he is aiming for his second victory in his career.

On this day, Im Seong-jae could not reduce the number of strokes by swapping the 2nd hole (par 3) birdie and 6th hole (par 5) views in the first half.

Im Seong-jae, who caught a birdie on the 10th hole (par 4), dropped the second shot into the water on the 13th hole (par 4) and recorded a double bogie.

Fortunately, he found his composure and succeeded in reversing the mood with a birdie on the 14th hole (par 3), and ended the second round pleasantly by catching the Eagle on the 16th hole (par 5).

On the first day, Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland), who was co-leader on the first day, only cut one stroke and was tied for third place (7 under par, 137 strokes). ‘Long hitter’ Bryson DeChambo (USA) is the sole 6th with 6 under par 138 strokes.
