Lim Seong-jae, PGA’s selection of expected stocks under 25 to be noted

Lim Seong-jae (22, CJ Logistics) was selected as an expected stock to watch among players under the age of 25.

Lim Seong-jae was ranked 4th out of the 10 players under 25 years old to watch in 2021 selected by the US Professional Golf (PGA) Tour on the 23rd (Korean time).

PGA Tour said, “Im Seong-jae has accomplished a lot in the United States over the past three years,” and said, “In 2018, he became the player of the year on the Con Ferry Tour, and in 2019, he won the rookie king in the PGA Tour. I did it,” he explained.

The media added, “We won the Honda Classic and ranked third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Before the tour was stopped due to the novel coronavirus infection, we also climbed to No. 1 in the FedEx Cup rankings and took runner-up in the Masters debut.”

PGA Tour said, “Im Seong-jae also bought a house around Atlanta, where the Tour Championship, the final playoff game, was held. I think I bought a house well because Im Seong-jae, who has already participated twice in the Tour Championship.”

The Tour Championship is a competition in which players within the 30th place in the FedEx Cup rankings participate. Therefore, participating in the FedEx Cup also means that you have performed well during the season.

The PGA Tour picked Colin Morikawa (23, USA), who won the major PGA Championship, as the first 25-year-old player to watch. The second is Victor Hobland (Norway), and the third is Matthew Wolf (USA).

In addition, Scotty Schaeffler (USA), Joaquin Neeman (Chile), Will Zaltoris (USA), Aaron Wise (USA), Sam Burns (USA), and Doc Redman (USA) were also listed.
