On the 27th (Korean time), the World Golf Championship (WGC) Series Workday Championship (total prize money of $10.5 million) continued at the Bradenton Concession Golf Course (par 72/7474 yards) in Florida, US (2 under par, 142 strokes). ‘Phoenix Open Champ’ Brooks Kepka (USA) drove a 6-under par and took the top of the leaderboard (11 under par 133 shots) at once, and three others, including Colin Morikawa (USA), tied for second place in the first stroke (10 under par 134 shots) In pursuit.

Im Seong-jae tied 3 buddies, 3 bogies, and 1 double bogie. Starting from the 10th hole (par 4) and cruising with 2 buddies and 1 bogie, the second half of the second hole (par 4) double bogie was braked. The second shot at 174 yards flew to the greenside bunker and failed to escape, resulting in a ‘4 on 2 putt’. As the iron shot swayed, I had a hard time seeing again in the 3rd and 4th holes. It is fortunate that the atmosphere was changed with the last 7th hole (par 5) buddy.
