Lim Hyun-taek, chairman of the Korean Pediatrics and Adolescents Association, announced on the 3rd that he would visit Hanil Hospital in Ssangmun-dong, Dobong-gu, Seoul. It is said that Cho Min, 30, the daughter of former Justice Minister Cho Kook, recently applied for the internship selection at this hospital. On the 2nd, Chairman Lim also visited the Ministry of Education on the 2nd and urged a response to the suspicion of Cho Min’s illegal admission to the Pusan National University Medical School.

Chairman Lim said on his Facebook page on the 3rd, “The Seoul Central District Court, in a decision against Professor Kyung-Shim Chung (the wife of former Minister Cho), sentenced on December 23 last year, He admitted that it was false,” he said. “(Mr. Jo Min) is a’person with reasons for disqualification’ even if he follows the guidelines for recruiting interns at Hanil Hospital.” Accordingly, Chairman Lim plans to visit Hanil Hospital and insist on the deprivation of Cho Min’s internship qualifications.

On the 3rd, Hanil Hospital will conduct an interview for the first post recruitment of major doctors (interns) in 2021. The total number of people to be selected is three. Qualifications for the screening are those who have graduated or are expected to graduate from medical (dental) college or medical school and have a doctor’s license. In this intern selection, the results of the National Doctor’s Examination (65%), medical school admissions (20%), and interviews (15%) are reflected. Successful candidates will be announced on the 4th.

An official at Hanil Hospital said, “Three people applied for the intern recruitment screening that selects three people. We cannot confirm whether a specific person applied for it,” he said. “However, just because the number of applicants and the applicants are the same does not mean that they all pass. According to the interview results, it is not known whether to pass it or drop it if it is judged inappropriate.”

Meanwhile, Hanil Hospital is a hospital operated by the KEPCO Medical Foundation under the KEPCO. It has 398 beds. There are 117 doctors.
