Choi Seung-ryul, head of the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency (Guksu-bon), who leads the Hapsu-bon, said, “81 people (23 cases) are subject to domestic demand and investigations related to the third new town. · The number of persons subject to investigation can be adjusted.”
“Of the 309 people, about 40 civil servants and 30 employees of public institutions are included. There are also civilians in the remaining 230, and others are checking because their jobs are not clear.” It is reported that the most areas for speculation are the southern regions of Gyeonggi Province, the northern regions of Gyeonggi Province, Incheon, Sejong and Chungnam.

Regarding the suspicion that the incumbent police purchased the land for the planned site of the Sejong City Smart Industrial Complex, Commissioner Kim said, “The Sejong Police Agency is in the process of an internal investigation,” and “If a speculation charge is confirmed, we will take strict measures in accordance with the laws and principles.”
