Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 11th that it has been selected as the project operator of the redevelopment maintenance zones in Sujin 1 and Sinheung 1 in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.
The Sujin 1 and Shinheung 1 redevelopment projects are maintenance projects in accordance with the 2030 Seongnam City Urban and Residential Environment Improvement Plan announced last year. In accordance with the selection of the project operator, LH will start a full-scale project to supply a total of 9,200 homes.
LH is currently pursuing a’public-led redevelopment project’ in Seongnam-si. The first stage redevelopment project (dandae, middle 3 district) has been completed, and the second stage (Shinheung 2, middle 1, gold mine district 1) is in progress. With the progress of this business, a new public-led redevelopment project will be promoted in Sujin 1 and Sinheung 1 districts.
LH plans to provide rental apartments in Wirye and Yeosu districts as circulation housing for residents who need to move through this project.
In this project, LH is a’public complex development project’ that provides job support centers, public rental prices, and living SOC complexes to support small business owners who are experiencing economic difficulties after the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19) and to respond to the needs of various resident communities. We plan to implement it together.
The residents’ representative meeting and project implementation agreement to be organized for each district will be signed, and details related to projects such as relocation and construction plans will be discussed with the residents. In this process, it is a policy to build a new city centered on consumers by actively reflecting the needs of residents.
LH and Seongnam City plan to cooperate and promote the establishment of a relocation plan for the rapid move-in of this redevelopment project, and organize a working-level council to continuously discuss the project implementation authorization, management disposition plan, and various pending issues.
