LH “Secondary deposit for homeless households with 2 or more children”… Acceptance by the 17th

The Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 1st that it is recruiting applicants for the’Chonseed Rental Housing’ project that provides low-interest rent to homeless households with two or more children.

LH’s chartered rental housing is a project in which LH enters into a charter contract with the homeowner and re-leases it to the tenant at a low cost when the tenant decides the desired type of charter house where they want it.

From this day, applications for a total of 2,500 households in 93 cities and counties nationwide will be accepted.

The target of application is homeless households raising two or more underage children, whose monthly average income is 70% or less of the average monthly income per urban worker household in the previous year (4.11 million won for a household of four) and must meet the prescribed asset criteria. The asset standard is 285 million won in total assets and less than 28.68 million won for automobiles.

Recruitment is divided into the first (recipients and second-class) and the second (70% or less in terms of income), and provides priority support for households with a large number of children or poor living conditions.

The amount of jeonse deposit support is up to 135 million won in the metropolitan area, 100 million won in metropolitan cities, and 85 million won in other regions based on two children. For households with three or more children, the amount increases by 20 million won per person depending on the number of children.

The tenant pays about 2% of the jeonse subsidy as a deposit, and pays a monthly rent with an annual interest rate of 1-2% applied to the remaining amount of the jeonse subsidy minus the rental deposit.

In the case of receiving 100 million won, the deposit is 2 million won, and the monthly rent is about 80,000 to 160,000 won.

Depending on the number of underage children, the interest rate is reduced by up to 0.5% point (0.2% point for 1 child, 0.3% point for 2 children, 0.5% point for 3 children or more), and a preferential interest rate of 0.2% point is provided for recipients of livelihoods and medical benefits.

The rental period is 2 years, and the contract can be renewed up to 9 times, allowing a stable residence for up to 20 years. When renewing the contract, separate income and asset standards must be met.

You can apply at the LH Subscription Center on the 1st to 17th of this month.

Applicants will be screened for eligibility, and the number of tenants by ranking will be announced from next month.
