The summons investigation of Kang Mo, the key suspect in the LH speculation allegation case, continued from around 10 am for nearly 8 hours.
Kang is the first and most important person to buy the projected land for the 3rd new town development in Gwangmyeong and Siheung among the 15 former and current LH employees on the investigation line.

The police are known to have focused on investigating whether or not the land had been purchased using the secrets they learned from the work against Mr. Kang.
In addition to Mr. Kang, two others, including Mr. Kim Mo, the current executive at LH’s Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters, were also called by the police and investigated.
Kim is a party to the so-called’Jeonbuk expedition speculation’ who bought the land in Noonsa-dong, Gwangmyeong-si in 2018, along with five retired LH employees.
For this reason, it is also interpreted that the police are looking for a link between the LH Gyeonggi Regional Headquarters and the Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters to connect the systematic speculation situation.
A compulsory investigation was also conducted in Sejong City, where 7 people, including three public officials, were accused of speculation.
The Sejong Police Agency confiscated and searched the Land Information Division of Sejong City Hall to confirm the suspicion of public officials suspected of speculating on the planned site of the national industrial complex.
The National Police Agency’s National Investigation Headquarters received additional requests from the government joint investigation team to investigate 23 suspected speculators and initiated a review.
