LH announced that it will start accepting subscriptions for a total of 14,843 public rental housing units according to the government’s plan to support housing stability for the common and middle class, announced in November last year.
Jeonse-type public rental housing is a type of public rental housing similar to that of jeonse, which minimizes the monthly rent burden by raising the share of the deposit to 80% of the rent. The rent is cheap at 80% of the market price.
The jeonse-type housing provided this time has a feature that any member of the homeless household can apply, regardless of income or assets, by greatly easing the occupancy qualifications of existing construction and purchase rental housing.
A total of 12,337 units, including 3949 units in the metropolitan area and 8388 units in the local area, are supplied, and 2506 units such as 1058 units in the metropolitan area and 1448 units in the local area are supplied.
The rental conditions are less than 70-80% of the market price for jeonse in the market, and 80% of the basic rental conditions are paid as a rental deposit and the remaining 20% as a monthly rent, which will help reduce the burden of housing expenses for tenants.
If it is difficult to make money at the beginning of the move-in, a deposit conversion system can be used to lower the deposit and increase the rent, allowing tenants to adjust the deposit and rent levels in consideration of their respective economic conditions.
The rental period is 4 years if you maintain your homeless status, and after that, if there is no prospective tenant, you can live for an additional 2 years.
Subscription can be accepted through the LH Subscription Center website from January 18th to 20th.
In addition, LH conducts on-site registration for the vulnerable Internet groups such as the elderly. In accordance with the guidelines for social distancing during on-site application, the number of visitors applying during the subscription period will be distributed, and quarantine regulations such as hand sanitizers and proper intervals will be observed.
The winners will be announced on March 5, and the contract period will be March 17-19. After signing the contract, you can move in immediately upon payment of the balance within the designated period. In the case of purchase rental charter housing, the winners will be announced on February 18, and a contract will be signed after February 26.
