‘Son Kim Seong-hoon, let’s go home. Mom needs a son to cry.’

These are some of the contents of the’Jamsu Bridge Memo’ that has recently spread online and has created regret. In the note,’son’ Kim Seong-hoon, 25, disappeared after stopping his vehicle at Jamsu Bridge in Seoul on the 7th. On the 12th, a citizen, who felt strange that the vehicle had been left unattended, reported it to the police.

After hearing the news, the family went up to Seoul from Haenam to find Kim’s whereabouts. In case Mr. Kim would read it and change his mind, he wrote a message on a yellow post-it and posted it on the railings of the Jamsu Bridge. Kim’s brothers suggested printing and pasting leaflets, but the mother insisted, “Because my son knows my font, I can return home after seeing my mother’s writing, so I have to write it myself.”

“I’m sorry mom and dad” video on my cell phone

Mr. Kim said, “I’m going to work” last month, and went to Tokyo in Haenam. Since he was the youngest child who usually had a strong sense of independence and did not want to be interfered with, his family believed in him and supported him. Kim’s eldest sister said in a telephone interview with the JoongAng Ilbo, “When my mother asked me if I was eating well or if I was wearing warmly on the last phone call with my younger brother, I told him not to worry, and he said that he would go down sooner or later.

In Kim’s car, traces of lightning bullets and soju bottles were rolling around. The black box has been cut off since arriving at Jamsu Bridge. Jamsu Bridge CC (closed circuit) TV is also having trouble tracking Kim’s whereabouts because it is not shining on Kim’s vehicle.

Two cell phones left in the vehicle had a one-minute video hinting at an extreme choice. “I’m sorry mom and dad. I’m sorry for my eldest sister and little sister. I tried to do it well, but it didn’t work well.” There were also records of searching for a party through a theater selection-related site or searching for personal bankruptcy rehabilitation words.

Following Kim’s traces, new content came out that the family didn’t know about. Last year, Mr. Kim had already registered as a mobile phone product related business in Asan City, Chungcheongnam-do. Kim, who said he was going to Seoul last month, was living in Osan, Gyeonggi-do, in a studio. It is said that he also received a large loan. Mr. Kim’s father said, “Looking at the financial details, I received a loan of 45 million won or more. I wonder if I was scammed in the middle after receiving the loan.”

Over 15 days of disappearance… Families are “frustrated”

The case of Mr. Kim’s disappearance is being investigated by the Seocho Police Station in Seoul. It has been the 17th day since Mr. Kim disappeared, but he has not found any clues whether he committed himself at Jamsu Bridge or moved to another place. Kim’s family is complaining, “I am frustrated because I couldn’t find a CCTV video until now after 15 days.” Mr. Kim’s impression on the vehicle-related online community is also inquiring about witnesses and black box videos.

A police official said, “There is no CCTV that illuminates the place where Mr. Kim parked, and the time from the disappearance to the time of reporting is long, so the acquisition of the video is delayed.” He continued, “Because there is a possibility of investing in the Han River, we are patrolling in collaboration with the Han River patrol, and last week we also put a diver to search for it.” I’m watching.”
