This is a pun in which the end of the Japanese pronunciation of the Olympics,’Olympikku’, is replaced with’piggu’, which means pig.
The proposal was canceled due to opposition from the staff, but when the conversation was released and controversy arose, he apologized and resigned, saying, “I reflect on the remarks that were a great insult to Mr. Naomi.”
