Lee Yong-gyu, who transferred from Hanwha Eagles to Kiwoom Heroes, performed her first training at Kiwoom.
On the 1st, 10 professional baseball teams including Kiwoom began training at once to prepare for the 2021 season.
Kiwoom Lee Yong-gyu also started training at the unfamiliar Gocheok Dome.
Before the start of the training, Lee Yong-gyu received a bouquet of congratulations to joining from coach Kiwoom Hong Won-ki and held a meeting in the welcome of all players.
There was a player who most welcomed Lee Yong-gyu’s joining, and it was Lee Jung-hoo.
Lee Jung-hoo laughed brightly and clapped when Yong-gyu Yong-gyu said hello.

When he was a child, Lee Jung-hoo often visited the baseball field while holding the hand of his father, Jong-beom Lee. Lee Jong-beom was the senior Lee Yong-gyu admired most and a role model in baseball life.
For this reason, Yonggyu Yong-gyu was a nephew who cherished and loved Lee Jung-hoo.
In 2021, after a long period of time,’uncle’ Lee Yong-gyu and’nephew’ Lee Jeong-hoo finally ate a pot rice in Kiwoom.
In the training that day, Yong-gyu Lee performed batting training in the same group as Jeong-hoo Lee, and ended the training with the outfield defense training that followed.
Now, the relationship between’seniors’ and’juniors’ rather than’uncles’ and’nephews’ began.
