It is a condition of a down payment of 300 million won, an annual salary of 300 million won, and an incentive total of 800 million won.” If it meets, the remaining one-year contract will be automatically extended.”

Lee Won-seok, who started his professional career at the Lotte Giants in 2005, played for Doosan Bears from 2009 to 2016.

Ahead of the 2017 season, Lee Won-seok signed an FA contract with Samsung for a total of 2.7 billion won, including a four-year down payment of 1.5 billion won and an annual salary of 300 million won.

During four seasons at Samsung, Lee Won-seok played 481 matches, batting average of 0.271, 70 homers, 305 RBIs, and an OPS of 0.793.

Home runs and RBIs ranked third among all Samsung hitters during this period.

Lee Won-seok said, “Thank you for the good treatment of the club. I am very happy to be able to continue playing at Samsung. I want to repay my fans with better grades than the last four years by preparing well as I gave them the opportunity.”
