Will Lee Seung-woo (23, Sint Trawyden) leave the European stage and return to the K-League 1? The theory is rising that he can return to the K-League ground.

A K-League club official said on the 1st, “Lee Seung-Woo’s agent recently made contact with about 5 K-League 1 clubs.”

According to this official, Lee Seung-woo is known to have contacted Suwon Samsung and Jeonbuk Hyundai.

Lee Seung-woo entered the European stage early in February 2011 when he joined Infantil A (13-14 years old team), the Spanish Primera Liga FC Barcelona U-13 team.

Seung-Woo Lee debuted on the professional stage through Team B in Barcelona in the 2016-2017 season, but eventually failed to join the Barcelona Team A and transferred to Serie A Verona, Italy in August 2017.

Seung-Woo Lee played 43 games in Verona for two seasons (including 23 regular league games), scoring two goals, and changed to the Belgian main pillar league Sintrawidon uniform in August 2019.

Seung-Woo Lee also played in four regular league games in the first season in Sintetrawidon and scored no goal.

This season too, scoring two goals in the first 13 games, and was excluded from the main game as he missed 9 consecutive games from the 17th round to the 23rd round of the day.

Because of this, Lee Seung-woo’s side began to worry about staying on the European stage and advancing to the K-League. First of all, it turned out that they started asking about the intentions of the K-League teams.

There is one obstacle to entry into the domestic market, which is that a transfer fee is incurred because the contract with Sint Trawiden remains about a year and a half.

According to Transfermark, a transfer media specialist, Lee Seung-woo’s transfer fee is 600,000 euros (approximately 810 million won).

The K-League transfer market deadline is March 31. Soccer fans are attracting attention as to whether the K-League clubs decide whether to completely transfer Lee Seung-woo and pay the transfer fee and pull it reliably, or whether they will carefully settle down in consideration of leasing.

I hope Lee Seung-woo, whether on the European ground or in the K-League, will continue to respond to fans’ expectations with a wonderful shot while holding’thumbs up’ again.
