Seongnam Distribution Center is the first place to apply the Digital Full Filment Center (DFC) system among the online projects of Nonghyup. DFC is a dedicated space separately prepared in existing offline stores to process online orders. Orders received at the Nonghyup Mall are delivered to the picking and packing system (PCS) and the delivery management system (TMS), and the ordered products by category zone in the store are transferred to the ceiling rail, and the order is classified by the automatic sorting system (DAS). This is a method that automatically releases the product through the post conveyor.
When a customer orders a product online through DFC, the staff moves the store product to the lift and ceiling rail installed in the store, moves it to the sorting area, and the sorting area where the product arrives is distributed and packed by order and distributed to vehicles by delivery area Hanaro Mart’s online delivery service competitiveness is further strengthened by delivering it to customers.
The existing manual picking and packing tasks have been greatly improved, and customer convenience will also be improved by realizing a crisp delivery that is delivered within 2 hours from order to delivery, and on-time delivery (pre-order delivery) service that allows customers to receive delivery at their desired time The Nonghyup expected.
The DFC, which will be built at the Seongnam Distribution Center, is one of the 66 initiatives for agricultural and livestock distribution innovation announced at the resolution contest to practice correct agricultural and livestock products distribution innovation in November last year.
From the beginning of this year, it plans to strengthen the competitiveness of the livestock products online retail sector in the future with a business that is at the junction of the distribution transformation and digital innovation emphasized by Chairman Lee.
To cope with the rapid growth of the online industry, the Nonghyup is promoting offline stores as online delivery logistics bases through DFC establishment. The Seongnam Distribution Center DFC will be stabilized early and applied to 11 distribution centers within this year starting with Goyang in March this year.
