Lee Kang-in (20) played full-time for the first time this season, but could not prevent Valencia’s complete defeat.

Valencia lost 0-3 to Seville in the round of 16 in the 2020-21 season of the Spanish King’s Cup (Copadelli) held at Ramon Sanchez Pisjuan in Seville, Spain on the 28th (Korean time).

Lee Kang-in was placed in the front two-top with Ruben Sobrino and played full-time in the first half of this season for the first time, but was forced to watch the team’s complete defeat. It was not possible to produce such an impressive scene because of the opponent’s defense.

Valencia gave Seville the opening goal after 20 minutes of the first half.

Akuya’s corner kick was scored by the long striker The Yongi header.

Valencia got a chance with a mid-range shot in the 31st minute, but Jay Song’s shot was blocked by the goalkeeper.

Two minutes later, Seville ran away with a second goal.

Valencia’s defense couldn’t clear the cross from Munir from the left, and The Yong, who received a pass from Hunger, scored multiple goals with a non-stop right-footed shot.

In the 38th minute of the first half, Sevilla Rakitic scored a sensational right-footed chip shot, and the score went up to 0-3.

In the second half, Valencia fired several shots and counterattacked, but the goal was not reached.

Lee Kang-in also got a chance to shoot from the left flank in the 39th minute of the second half, but headed in front of the opposing goalkeeper.

In the end, Valencia failed to overcome the three-goal gap and recorded a complete defeat.
