Singer Lee Jung-hee revealed that her mother, who was diagnosed with Corona 19, suddenly passed away.
Singer Lee Jung-hee appeared in EBS1’s’Life Story-Blue Manjang’ (hereinafter referred to as’Blue Manjang’), which aired on the 1st.
Lee Jung-hee gained popularity in the 1970s~1980s with’Bayaba’ and’The Girl’, and won the Female Singer Award in 1981 when Cho Yong-pil won the Male Singer Award. Having enjoyed high popularity, he suddenly declared retirement and headed for the United States. Lee Jung-hee said, “It was difficult because I collided with the world. In that situation, my father passed away from chronic illness and became the head of a girl. It was difficult because of the weight of life,” he said about the escape to the US.
Lee Jung-hee married in the United States and started a family, but it is said that she divorced. Lee Jung-hee said, “I met a man who cared for me and loved me and married me. But it wasn’t because I needed love, but because I needed it. So, I got a divorce because they went against each other.”
Lee Jung-hee also confessed the story of her brother’s passing away in an elevator crash in the past. My brother, who called his family who was preparing for dinner, told him that he would go home soon, returned with a cold corpse. Lee Jung-hee said, “I thought that life might suddenly break up,” recalling the time and creating regret.
Lee Jung-hee also revealed that her mother recently passed away three days after being confirmed for Corona 19. Lee Jung-hee said, “My mother’s 49 days passed yesterday,” he said. “I was active in Korea, but my mother in the United States said that she had a bad body a while ago. I called an ambulance to go to the hospital, and I spoke on the phone until I changed my clothes.” He said, “He went to the hospital, but he died after 3 days of being confirmed with Corona 19.”
Lee Jung-hee said, “I have lived with my mother for the rest of my life and talked every day, but I couldn’t go to the United States for a year due to Corona 19. Then, when I died suddenly, I still can’t manage it,” he said to his mother.
