At the time, it was investigated that coach Lee Sang-ho assaulted the players at any accommodation in Anyang City.

Later, he joined the Hyosung Volleyball Team under the control of the Volleyball Association. He played an active part in the Hyosung Volleyball Team as a setter and played an active part in the 1988 Seoul Olympics as a national team.
