According to the Korea Institute of Social Opinion (KSOI) on the 25th, when asked about the’suitability of the next presidential candidate’, Governor Lee Jae-myeong took the first place with 26.2%. President Yoon and CEO Lee accounted for 14.6% and 14.5%, respectively.
Following this, independent lawmaker Hong Joon-pyo (4.6%), former Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon (3.0%), former Congressman Seung-min Yoo (2.4%), Justice Party lawmaker Shim Sang-jeong (1.6%), Jeju Governor Won Heeryong (1.0%), and former Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Bu-gyeom ( 0.9%) and so on. 22.6% did not choose a specific person.

Compared to the regular survey in December, Governor Lee (23.4%) rose 2.8 percentage points, General Yoon (15.0%) fell 0.4 percentage points, and CEO Lee (16.8%) fell 2.3 percentage points.
By region, Governor Lee received high support from Incheon and Gyeonggi (31.0%) and Honam (31.2%). received.
By party support, 43.6% of respondents who said they supported the Democratic Party supported Governor Lee, and 33.3% supported Lee. 39.8% of the supporters of the people’s strength supported President Yun.
The survey was conducted on the 22nd by wireless (79.3%) and wireline (20.7%) telephone interviews, targeting 1013 men and women aged 18 and over nationwide.
