Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon, the world’s largest online shopping company, has announced that he will step down as CEO.

Bezos is expected to face off against Elon Musk, his opponent, while focusing on the space industry.

Since the third quarter of this year, he has announced that he will withdraw from the position of Amazon’s chief executive officer, who has been working for 27 years.

In a letter to his employees, he said, “I will focus on the philanthropy and space exploration company Blue Origin and The Washington Post,” and drew the line that he “is not retiring.”

Starting from a small warehouse in 1995 as an internet bookstore, this is his step toward a new challenge, raising the world’s largest online company.
