Netherlands “AstraZeneca suspends vaccination until 29th for prevention”
The Netherlands has decided to stop using AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine by at least the 29th of this month, Reuters and other foreign media reported.
The Dutch health authorities said the decision was made “as a precautionary measure” and was based on reports from Denmark and Norway of possible serious side effects.
According to the Dutch local ANP news agency, 43,000 vaccination reservations are expected to be canceled due to this action by the authorities.

Norway “Three medical staff are in hospital for symptoms of blood clots.”
Earlier, the Norwegian health authorities announced at a press conference that three medical staff vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine showed very rare symptoms such as blood clots, bleeding and platelet reduction, and were hospitalized and treated.
All of the medical staff are known to be under the age of 50, and Norwegian health officials say they are taking the issue very seriously, although the causal relationship between their symptoms and vaccination is not yet known.

Ireland, Italy, and Thailand also “postponed vaccination for vaccinations for a while”
Health authorities in Piedmont, northern Italy, also took steps to temporarily suspend vaccination against the serial number’ABV5811′ vaccine given by the teacher, shortly after the death of a 58-year-old teacher who received the AstraZeneca vaccine.
Earlier, Italian health authorities temporarily suspended the production unit vaccination on the 11th in connection with the deaths of a 43-year-old naval agent and a 50-year-old police officer who vaccinated AstraZeneca from’ABV2856′ in Sicily.
Outside of Europe, Thailand announced on the 12th that it will temporarily postpone vaccination against AstraZeneca due to safety concerns.

WHO and European Medicines Agency “Causal relationship between AZ and blood clot formation is not proven…There is no reason to stop vaccination”
However, the World Health Organization and the European Medicines Agency say there is no reason to stop using the AstraZeneca vaccine, saying there is no causal relationship between the vaccine and the formation of blood clots.
The UK, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Sweden continue to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The UK is “aware” of Ireland’s cessation of vaccinations, but drew a line in the connection with the formation of blood clots.
AstraZeneca also made a statement: “Safety review shows evidence of increased risk of blood clots.”
AstraZeneca also made a direct statement about the continuing controversy over the possibility of side effects such as blood clots.
The company said, “As a result of a safety review of 17 million people who received the Corona 19 vaccine in the EU and the UK, there was no evidence of an increase in the risk of blood clots.”
