‘Chu Chu Train’ Choo Shin-soo (39, SSG Landers) begins his first career as a KBO league player in his hometown of Busan.

On the 11th, Shin-soo Choo appears at the Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium where a practice match is held with SSG and Lotte Giants.

Choo Shin-soo entered Korea after signing a contract with SSG for an annual salary of 2.7 billion won at the end of last month. Self-quarantine was conducted in Changwon for two weeks, and quarantine was canceled at noon on that day. Afterwards, he will move to Busan and share his first greetings with the team including SSG coach Kim Won-hyung (49).

Coach Kim said, “I am also waiting for the players with excitement.” “I heard that it is difficult to arrive before 1pm, the start time of the game. I think I will meet Shinsoo Choo after the game is over.”

Now, attention is focused on the timing of Shin-soo Choo’s actual use. It is known that during the self-isolation period, Choo Shin-soo has sincerely built up his body in a thorough personal routine.

However, he couldn’t do the training necessary for the game, such as live betting. For this reason, coach Kim believes that it will not be easy to participate in the practice match against kt Wiz that will be held in Ulsan on the 13th and 14th.

Choo Shin-soo’s first actual battle so far is a practice match with the Samsung Lions held in Daegu on the 16th to 17th. If Shin-soo Choo does not play these two games, there will be no opportunity to watch the pitcher’s ball from the at-bat until the opening of the demonstration game against NC on the 20th.

Coach Kim explained, “I will make a final decision on Choo Shin-soo’s practice game after watching him train this week.”

Director Kim added, “Even if Choo Shin-soo is not hitting the ball at the plate, watching the ball itself can help you find your senses. [email protected]
