Blockchain developer Lambda 256, a subsidiary of Doonamu, announced on the 15th that it has attracted an additional 10 billion won worth of investment.
Lambda 256 attracted 7 billion won worth of investment from major venture capitals and strategic investors such as Woori Technology Investment, Chong Kun Dang Holdings, and Yanolja in June of last year.
In January of this year, it raised an additional 10 billion won. With this, Lambda 256 announced that it has finished attracting series A investment with a total amount of 17 billion won.
However, a Lambda 256 official said, “The company that has invested 10 billion won in Lambda 256 is not yet in the stage of disclosure,” he said.
Lambda 256 announced that it will use the investments secured from Series A investments for overseas expansion and manpower acquisition. It plans to accelerate its entry into the Southeast Asian blockchain industry, including Singapore within this year.
In addition, it is continuously recruiting to advance the Looneybus BaaS (Blockchain-as-a-Service) platform. In terms of development, as interest in cryptocurrency transaction services in the recent market increases, we will introduce a blockchain-based fintech service that can support the virtual asset business of e-commerce companies and financial sectors.
Lambda 256 is a blockchain service platform Luniverse operator, founded in March 2019 by spin-off from Dunamu. The Luniverse service platform provides sidechains and various development tools required for blockchain-based service development.
Park Jae-hyun, CEO of Lambda 256, said, “Based on this investment, we have laid the foundation for growth to a level that can compete with global BaaS companies in terms of both blockchain technology and scale.” We look forward to making changes by actively cooperating with companies.”
