[한스경제=박종민 기자] Kwon Oh-gap (70) succeeded in the third consecutive term of the Korea Professional Football Federation.

The Korea Professional Football Federation said on the 5th, “At the Governors Election Management Committee held on the 4th, the current President Kwon Oh-gap was confirmed as the 12th President-elect.”

The Pro Football Federation Governor’s Election Management Committee received registration of candidates for the governor’s election from December 25th last year to the 31st of the same month, and Gwon Oh-gap was the only candidate registered. The governor’s election management committee decided that Gwon Oh-gap was elected after examining the reasons for disqualification according to the association’s articles of association. Therefore, Governor Oh-gap Kwon will be inaugurated as the 12th governor after the regular general meeting scheduled for the 15th and will begin a new term.

The term of office of Governor Oh Gap Kwon is four years until 2024. Governor Oh-gap Kwon said, “We will settle the system for rationalization of management, such as the ratio-type salary cap and roaster system, which will be introduced from 2023, and focus on the sustainable growth of the K-League.”
