Kwon Chil-seung “Small business recovery top priority”

Kwon Chil-seung, the new Minister of SMEs and Startups, announced that he will be the first to take care of the stability and recovery of small businesses who have been damaged by the novel coronavirus infection (Corona 19).

Minister Kwon said in his inauguration address on the 8th, “We will try to provide quick and practical help for the recovery of the business of the small business that is suffering the most damage.”

He then emphasized, “I will enact the Local Commercial District Act to strengthen the competitiveness of the commercial district, create a stable business environment for small business owners, and promote a commercial district recovery project to inspire new vitality in the region.”

He also said, “We will ensure that traditional SMEs and small business owners can stand as the subject of innovation, and foster innovation ventures and startups as the leading players in the leading economy.”

Minister Kwon said, “I will create a horizontal organizational culture,” and “I will communicate with all employees with communication as the most important thing.”

He said, “I will also try to secure the organization’s ability to implement policies,” he said. “We will ensure that the Small and Medium Business Administration can properly fulfill its role as a government department that synthesizes and manages SME and small business policies.”

The employees were asked, “To reduce the gap between the policy and the site, visit many sites and include the voice of the site in the policy.”

Minister Kwon held the first extended executive meeting at the Daejeon Government Complex without a separate inauguration ceremony and distributed only the inaugural address.
