(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Boram Yoon = KOTRA announced on the 3rd that it will run a’Born Global specialized training course’ to strengthen the initial startup’s ability to enter overseas markets for a month starting on the 16th.

Bon Global refers to a company that targets overseas markets from the initial stage of startup.

KOTRA organized this training with Yozma Group Korea, a Korean subsidiary of Yozma Group, a global venture capital that produced 24 NASDAQ listed companies as of last month.

In the education, ▲ business model advancement and profit creation method ▲ financial statement preparation method ▲ investment attraction pitching method ▲ market development strategy using e-commerce platform ▲ promising market entry strategy, etc., necessary for initial startups are covered.

We support one-on-one customized mentoring with Yozma Group Korea and KOTRA export experts.

In addition, it provides an opportunity to explore the marketability and technology suitability of products and services under development by using an app that can interview potential overseas consumers on a mobile phone and discover improvements.

Those eligible for training are those who are under Free Series A (investment attraction KRW 1 billion). It’s a startup.

Startup Global Competency Diagnosis is a questionnaire-based diagnosis tool developed by KOTRA last year. It measures ratings in four areas: willingness to enter overseas markets, strategy, export, investment attraction, and global startup.

Start-ups that have completed education can receive KOTRA’s start-up support services in stages, such as entering crowdfunding platforms in the US, Japan, and Taiwan, etc., Amazon Rocket Start, and Global Open Innovation, if desired.

Yozma Group Korea plans to review investments in promising startups discovered in this education.

A KOTRA official said, “I hope that promising startups will increase their global capabilities through this education and actively utilize the opportunities to advance overseas after Corona 19.”
