KOTRA, Arirang TV and Consumer Goods Online Export Support Exhibition

[이데일리 경계영 기자] Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) announced on the 4th that it will open a special exhibition to support the online export of promising consumer goods with the International Broadcasting Exchange Foundation, which operates Arirang TV.

This special exhibition is a follow-up project according to the MOU signed by the two companies last year, and one-on-one video consultation between companies participating in the Korean Wave contents’K-UNBOXING’ and’K-BIZ Season 2’produced by Arirang TV and overseas buyers. Support. The two programs sponsored by the Small and Medium Business Agricultural and Fishery Cooperation Foundation and the Entrepreneur Promotion Agency are about opening (unboxing) excellent Korean consumer goods or visiting production companies to conduct interviews.

Prior to this project, an online-only pavilion was built on KOTRA’s online export support platform’by Korea’ in order to intensively promote 62 small and medium-sized companies with competence in consumer goods such as kitchenware, cosmetics and baby products.

Various digital contents are also used, such as an Arirang TV video where a YouTuber who is active in Korea and a new entertainer directly demonstrate their products, and a catalog with a link to’By Korea’ that sells products.

The two companies plan to create synergy by cooperating to pioneer the market of Korean consumer goods companies that are struggling with Corona 19 in the future.
