On the 28th (local time), the world’s largest petition site,’change.org’, posted a petition saying that a boycott of Mitsubishi’s products should be conducted.

The petition was proposed by Korean-American organizations in Northern California, and the background of the petition is “This petition is about the false and harmful allegations of Harvard Law School Professor Mark Ramsey.”

In the petition, Korean-American groups pointed out that Professor Ramsey’s title was’Mitsubishi Japanese Law Research Professor.’ He pointed out that Professor Ramsey was appointed through a fund raised by Mitsubishi to Harvard University.

They criticized “Professor Ramzier’s description of comfort women as voluntary and well-paid prostitutes in his recent thesis denies many academic achievements accumulated over the years.”

“Continuing to support Mitsubishi,” he argued, implicitly supports Professor Ramsey’s ridiculous and insulting claims, who occupy the faculty position granted by the Mitsubishi Company.

The petition asked, “Please join us in refusing to purchase all Mitsubishi products, including automobiles, TVs, electronic components, air conditioners, air conditioning systems, etc.”

Entering’BoycottMitsubishi.com’ or’BoycottMitsubishi.org’ in the address bar of your web browser will connect you to the petition site.
