“Corona 19 crisis into an opportunity for innovation”

Chairman Cho said at the founding commemoration of the 52nd anniversary of Korean Air posted on the company’s intranet bulletin board, saying, “Let’s take the crisis of new coronavirus infection (Corona 19) as an opportunity for’innovation’ and fundamentally change the constitution of Korean Air.”
Chairman Cho said, “I will practice innovation from myself so that we can become a company that is soaring higher than anyone else in the world that has changed since Corona 19.” I hope I can concentrate.” He said, “Let’s do our best to contribute to the Korean aviation industry with a greater sense of mission as the two companies become one to form a larger organization.”
Chairman Cho emphasized that although it is a difficult situation, the crisis can be overcome only by turning difficulties into opportunities. “Corona 19 caused a painful situation, but on the one hand, it is true that it gave us a chance to make a difference,” he said. “This is paradoxically at this point where survival is considered precarious, so innovation is more urgent than ever. Also, regarding innovation, Chairman Cho compared it to changing clothes according to the season. He expressed his willingness for company-wide innovation, saying, “Innovation is what makes and wears clothes for the new business season of the era of With Corona.”
Chairman Cho ordered to change to an organization full of creativity and dynamism, a work method that focuses on key areas based on flexibility, and a communication culture that respects the diversity among members and shares it transparently.
Chairman Cho encouraged the executives and employees, saying, “I hope that efforts and patience will soon produce sweet fruits and share the fruits abundantly with the employees.”
Meanwhile, Korean Air did not hold a separate inaugural ceremony to prevent the spread of Corona 19.
