On the 2nd, Korea South-East Power Co., Ltd. unveiled a bird’s eye view of the’Daegu Natural Gas Power Plant and Complex Cultural Space’, which is being promoted at the National Industrial Complex in Dalseong-gun, Daegu.
This project is a large-scale national project with an operating cost of 1.7 trillion won.
Korea South-East Power said, “To build an eco-friendly natural gas power plant in Daegu, we plan to apply a specialized landscape design for the first time in Korea and create an open complex cultural space for local residents.”
Landscape design was in charge of the’Space Architects’ Office, a representative architect office in Korea with a history of 60 years. The chief architect who is in the process of landscape design said, “It reflects Korea South-East Power’s strong will to realize a beautiful and friendly image that goes beyond the functional appearance of the plant.” “Using the ridge of Biseul Mountain in Dalseong-gun as a motif, the preconceived notion of plant architecture The design intention was explained by the innovative application of the nature-friendly streamlined landscape that goes beyond the standard.
In particular, a large-scale complex cultural space that is three times the size of a soccer field open to local residents also attracts attention.
A cultural center, art & ecology park, camping and picnic, large water playground, four-season sledding, park golf, and various stadiums make it an unconventional complex cultural space at the level of a theme park that anyone of all ages can visit and enjoy.
