[투데이에너지 류희선 기자] The Korea Energy Agency (CEO Kim Chang-seop) held the first Ulsan carbon-neutral business meeting at the Ulsan Lotte Hotel on the 6th.

The corporate council was formed with the aim of creating a sustainable carbon-neutral ecosystem and promoting energy efficiency through the establishment of corporate-centered energy governance in Ulsan, where the manufacturing industry is concentrated.

The meeting was attended by officials from public sectors such as the Industrial Complex and Ulsan Techno Park, as well as representatives from small and medium-sized energy companies in Ulsan from various fields such as hydrogen, renewable energy, and energy conservation company (ESCO).

At the conference, the company introduced the status of its carbon neutral policy and related projects, discussed cooperation plans between participating organizations, and gathered policy suggestions.

The Corporation will continue to hold regular meetings to promote carbon neutrality in Ulsan, as well as fostering and supporting local energy companies.

The Corporation is making active efforts to vitalize the local economy and develop win-win by establishing a dedicated team to systematically support Ulsan’s energy efficiency and new renewable energy ecosystem this year.
