Kookmin Bank-Technology Guarantee Fund, Business Agreement for’Korean Version New Deal’

[뉴스토마토 김보선 기자] Kookmin Bank announced on the 21st that it has signed a’Comprehensive Business Agreement for Supporting the Korean Version of New Deal’ with the Korea Technology Guarantee Fund at KB Kookmin Bank’s Yeouido headquarters.

KB Kookmin Bank and the Korea Technology Guarantee Fund plan to receive various support from both institutions through mutual discovery and recommendation of companies that will lead the Korean version of the New Deal. The support targets are △Digital New Deal companies, △Green New Deal companies, △Employment stability, industrial safety innovation companies, etc. to strengthen stability net △Regional-balanced New Deal companies such as regional flagship industries and regulatory sandbox companies.

Kookmin Bank plans to provide loans by special contribution of 10 billion won to the Technology Guarantee Fund, lowering the financial cost burden of Korean New Deal-related companies through preferential interest rates and support for guarantee fees. It also plans to provide specialized services such as tax and accounting consulting, and support for hiring excellent human resources through KB Good Job. By utilizing the collaboration between KB Financial Group, KB Investment and KB Securities are recommended to receive investment in the Korean version of the New Deal-related fund, and KB Securities’ M&A, IPO, and corporate bond issuance related tasks are also supported. The Technology Guarantee Fund provides a total of 500 billion won guarantee with preferential treatment of guarantee ratio and guarantee fee through KB Kookmin Bank’s special contribution, and provides support for investment and technology transfer to strengthen technological competitiveness.
