Previously, candidate Park Young-seon formally suggested the introduction of a special prosecution investigation in relation to the alleged land speculation by Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) employees at the inauguration ceremony of the Seondae Committee. Accordingly, Kim Tae-nyeon, the acting representative of the Democratic Party, announced that he would accept the introduction of a special prosecution investigation within an hour after the recommendation of candidate Park Young-sun.
