International newspaper survey results widening the gap

It was found that the gap in support between Democratic Party candidate Kim Young-chun and Park Hyeong-jun, the power of the people, who will be confronting the Busan mayoral by-election on April 7th, has widened further.

According to the results of a survey of 1,000 voters in Busan over the age of 18 on the 19th and 20th, commissioned by the Kukje Newspaper on the 22nd to ResearchView, a public opinion poll, the approval rating of the Busan Mayoral candidate was 31.5%, the Democratic Party candidate Kim Young-chun, and the people’s power Park Hyeong-jun 55.1. As a percentage, the gap between the two candidates was 23.6 percentage points. This is not significantly different from the 28.6% of Kim Young-chun and 51.2% of Park Hyeong-jun, which JoongAng Ilbo surveyed and reported on the 19th-20th.

In the third poll conducted by the Kukje Newspaper on the 27th and 28th of last month, before the decision of the ruling and opposition candidates, the gap was slightly wider than the total approval rate of the Democratic Party candidates including Kim 32.2% and the total support rate of the people including Park, 52.2%.

The Kukje Newspaper also revealed that Park’s 64.6% and Kim’s 26.1% were found in the possibility of winning, and that the political power of the people was 42.8%, and the Democratic Party was 28.4%. The 14.4% gap in party support was wider than the 11.8 percentage point in the 3rd survey.

When asked about the meaning of the by-election, 44% of the respondents answered’Election to select the right people for the development of Busan regardless of political factions’, 37.2% said that the’political judgment theory’ that should empower the opposition party, and 37.2% said that the ruling party should be empowered. The’powerful ruling party’ was surveyed at 14.8%. In the evaluation of President Moon Jae-in’s job performance, 64.1% of them were’wrong’ and 30.0% of them were’good’.

As the biggest issue of this rehabilitation, the voters in Busan were in the order of revitalization of the local economy (31.4%), suspicion of speculation on LH land (17.5%), construction of Gaduk New Airport (12.2%), suspicion of sales of L-City (10.5%), and suspicion of an NIS inspection (2.6%). I picked it up.

Candidate Hyung-jun Park’s’L City suspicion’ raised by the Democratic Party and the construction of Gadeok New Airport through the enactment of a special law were relatively low in the proportion of this by-election compared to the suspicion of local economy revitalization and LH land speculation.
