Previously, Rep. Jang, a victim of sexual harassment, said he would not sue former CEO Kim, but since sexual crime is not a parental offense due to the revision of the Criminal Law, an investigation can be initiated even if there is an accusation from a third party other than the victim.

Earlier, CEO Kim issued a written statement the day before and bowed his head, acknowledging the fact of sexual harassment against Rep. Jang, saying, “I deeply apologize to you and the people.”

In addition to this, former CEO Kim said, “In the process of discussing with the victims, my abuse was a matter that occurred in the public party. He also said, “I am requesting severe disciplinary action against me from the Justice Party delegation and the current committee.”
