Regarding the plan for the relocation of the government building, he said, “Because the real estate market price is also affected, we need to look into various places in Seoul, suburbs of Seoul, Gwacheon, and Ilsan,” he said.
Regarding the court’s arrest of former Environment Minister Kim Eun-gyeong in the case of the’Ministry of Environment Blacklist’ the day before, Kim said, “It is a matter judged by the court and there is no direct relationship with us because the appeal procedure will proceed.”
To the question of whether charges or accusations related to abuse of authority would continue, he replied that “the standards for abuse of authority must be carefully established.” Regarding the Severe Crime Investigation Agency, which is being discussed in the National Assembly, he said, “I know that the discussion has begun,” and “I don’t think we are in a position to comment.”
