The Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office, which investigates the case of Kim Hak-e’s former Vice Minister of Justice’s departure ban, continued seizure and search today, following yesterday (21st).

We have obtained data from the Immigration Division of the Ministry of Justice.

Suwon District Prosecutor’s Office said, “It took a long time to model the electronic information to be confiscated.”

The prosecution was also found to have seized and searched the information center of the Seoul Immigration and Foreigners Agency in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul today.

The seizure search is expected to close sometime today, and digital forensics work will begin next week.

The Ministry of Justice once again emphasized that in March 2019, there was no problem in the process of inquiring Kim’s immigration information and approving an emergency ban on departure.

In particular, he refuted the suspicion that the personal information of former Vice Minister Kim was illegally viewed 177 times with specific numbers.
