Kim Ha-seong (25, Kiwoom), who is knocking on the major league stage, left for the United States to sign a contract on the 28th (Korean time).

A representative from ASPEC Corporation, who is in charge of domestic management of Kim Ha-sung, said in a call with News 1 that “Kim Ha-sung left for the United States today. We plan to prepare for negotiations and contracts in the United States.”

The contract has not been finalized right away. Ha-Sung Kim will watch the negotiations in the United States and draw conclusions depending on the situation. The official emphasized that “the negotiation deadline is short, so it will be possible to see that the local preparations are made in advance.”

He added, “We will continue to negotiate with several clubs, not one.”

The deadline for negotiations with Kim Ha-Sung, which was posted in the US on the 2nd, is until 7am on January 2nd, 2021. Negotiations are expected to take place as soon as the date is short. An official explained, “I plan to return after completing the medical test when the contract is signed.”

Currently, Kim Ha-sung’s stock price in the US is substantial. As an offensive infielder, the young age of 25 is attractively evaluated.

Accordingly, reports are continuing that Ryu Hyun-jin’s team, Toronto Blue Jays, as well as Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers, are targeting Kim Ha-seong. As of now, the possibility of entering the US is higher than ever.
