Kim Eo-joon beats Hong Soon-wook, “a judge guarantees tenure, legal coup”

Kim Eo-jun, who runs the TBS radio’Kim Eo-jun’s News Factory’, criticized the court for citing the request for the suspension of disciplinary execution by Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol.

On the 25th, the day after the court judgment came out, Mr. Kim insisted on his broadcast that it was “an impossibility of judgment,” and said, “Isn’t the prosecution and the judiciary united to create a legal coup?”

At the’News Factory of Kim Eo-jun’, attorney Ji-yeol Yang and lawyer Ki-ho Seo, a former judge, commented on the meaning of the court ruling.

Let’s say, “(The court) said that one of them (one of the reasons for disciplinary action) was clearly wrong in my own eyes, but how much wrong it is, you have to consider additionally, but you have to get back to work.” Mr. Kim insisted that “the additional psychological meaning is now gone.”

Kim continued, “The judge and a judge in the administrative court did this,’I will guarantee my term of office as the prosecutor general’.

The person Kim referred to as “a judge” was Deputy Judge Hong Soon-wook of the 12th Division of the Seoul Administrative Court. On the 24th, Deputy Judge Hong quoted Yoon’s request for suspension of execution for two months on the 24th, and accordingly, Yoon returned to work on the 25th.

Meanwhile, on the broadcast that day, attorney Seo interpreted the court ruling as “the prosecutor and the court are united together to reject democratic control of the people and democratic control by the power elected by the people.”

In response, Mr. Kim said, “There are reactions and reactions in the world, so if the court comes out like this, we expect that there will be a greater reaction of force.”
