“Best bridge to develop Korean football”

Kim Dae-eun (56), the president of the Jeollabuk-do Football Association, was elected vice-chairman of the Korea Football Association. Vice-president Kim Dae-eun was the first of the past presidents of the Jeonbuk Football Association since the founding of the Jeonbuk Football Association in 1954.
The Korea Football Association (Chairman Chung Mong-gyu) held a regular general meeting of delegates in 2021 at the soccer hall on the 27th, and appointed Kim Dae-eun, president of the Jeonbuk Football Association, as vice-chairman.
The new vice-chairman Kim Dae-eun will serve as a bridge between the Korea Football Association and the City Football Association and will be in charge of policy proposals and communication for football development.
Vice Chairman Kim Dae-eun said, “I joined the Secretariat of Jeollabuk-do Football Association in 1991 and worked for the development, rights, and harmony of local soccer associations based on 30 years of know-how and administrative power from the Executive Director, Executive Vice Chairman to the Chairman. Now, beyond Jeonbuk, I will start playing a pivotal role in Korean football.”
Vice Chairman Kim took the lead in establishing Geum-Seok Chae’s achievements in 1992 to his descendants as the only soccer tournament managed by the Municipal Football Association after being approved by the Korean Sports Association. In addition to the friendly matches of the national team, the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup and the 2005 East Asian Football Tournament were held, as well as the opening game of the FIFA U-20 World Cup and the opening ceremony of the national team’s Russia World Cup.
Vice Chairman Kim left Gunsan Jeil Middle School, Gunsan Jeil High School, and Kwangwoon University and worked as a soccer player in the Mokpo Hangun Industrial Team. Since 1991, he served as the chief executive officer, executive director, and vice-chairman of the Jeonbuk Football Association, and served as the head of the Jeonbuk Football Association in 2012.
Meanwhile, Park Kyung-hoon (60), a professor at Jeonju University, who was announced in advance, was appointed as the managing director of the Korea Football Association.
