Kia “The names of electric vehicles to be released are EV1~EV9”

The name of the electric car that Kia will launch from this year has been decided.

Karim Habib, executive director of Kia Design Center, said in the video’New Kia Brand Showcase’ broadcasted on YouTube on the 15th, “Whether the car we design is a powerful and dynamic crossover, a fun and practical commuter car, or a strong and bold SUV, Whether it’s an agile and dynamic car, or an elegant large sedan, these electric cars will be named EV1 to EV9.”

Kia has applied for trademarks from EV1 to EV9 through the patent information net Cyprice at the end of December last year.

Kia plans to introduce seven new exclusive electric vehicle lineups by 2027. However, as it has already applied for trademarks for nine electric vehicle models, it is expected that additional electric vehicles will be released after 2028.

More realistic content than reality is pouring

Kia will launch a pure electric vehicle CV starting this year. First, it is expected to unveil the vehicle within the first quarter and sell it to the domestic market from the second half of the year. The mass production name of CV is still unknown.

Kia is confident that it has a driving distance of more than 500km and a fast charging system of less than 20 minutes based on E-GMP technology for CV, and that a crossover type design has been applied.
