The name of the electric car that Kia will launch from this year has been decided.
Karim Habib, executive director of Kia Design Center, said in the video’New Kia Brand Showcase’ broadcasted on YouTube on the 15th, “Whether the car we design is a powerful and dynamic crossover, a fun and practical commuter car, or a strong and bold SUV, Whether it’s an agile and dynamic car, or an elegant large sedan, these electric cars will be named EV1 to EV9.”
Kia has applied for trademarks from EV1 to EV9 through the patent information net Cyprice at the end of December last year.

Kia plans to introduce seven new exclusive electric vehicle lineups by 2027. However, as it has already applied for trademarks for nine electric vehicle models, it is expected that additional electric vehicles will be released after 2028.
