The’Panoramic Curved Display’ first applied to the K8 is a futuristic image, and two 12.3-inch displays are smoothly connected to the dashboard and infotainment system.

It is also characterized by a wider field of view and excellent indoor openness. Kia Motors lowered the height of the dashboard by about 20 mm and optimized the left and right A-pillar angles and the size of the room mirror module. By lowering the junction of the outside mirror from the window to the door and adding a triangular window (delta glass) in its place, the driver can get a clear view.

The wood grain decoration that starts from the driver’s door and wraps around the first row from the front to the passenger door and the metal decoration connecting the left and right speakers make the interior space look wider.

Kia Motors created a comfortable atmosphere felt from well-made furniture through the harmony of wood grain, metal, and leather. In particular, it was revealed that the’star cloud lighting’ continued from the exterior by adding a diamond pattern and mood lighting to the central part of the front passenger seat and both doors in the first row.

Star cloud lighting is one of the features of the exterior design, located on both sides of the radiator grill, functions as daytime running lights and turn indicators, and has the same diamond pattern as the radiator grill.

The K8 is the first to be equipped with a touch-type control system that can be operated by integrating infotainment and air conditioning systems. The touch method was applied to all buttons except for media volume and room temperature. The new Kia emblem was applied to the steering wheel, and the Meridian premium sound system was installed for the first time in Kia.
