[오트트리뷴=김예준 기자] Kia K8’s indoor photos were revealed. The luxury that is comparable to the top model K9 catches the eye.

The K8’s center fascia is similar to the K9, making the interior look more spacious. The touch screen and electronic dashboard, which are far away from the current K7, are connected to help make the interior look even more spacious. The integrated electronic dashboard and touch screen surround the driver and round the finish to give a sense of stability.

The air conditioner at the bottom of the touch screen with a separate display window is expected to have a touch screen like Hyundai Grandeur. Underneath it is a ventilator. In addition to the central air vent, all air vents applied to the first row are located at the bottom of the center fascia upper and lower parts.

This is because in the past, the ventilation opening of the fifth generation Avante was located at the bottom, and consumers complained of inconvenience.

Along with the center fascia tilted toward the driver, the steering wheel with a different design from the existing Kia Motors catches the eye. The large new emblem has been applied to lengthen the airbag cover horizontally, making it look similar to the Genesis steering wheel. However, the K8 is a three-spoke system. Various buttons are located on the left and right sides of the steering wheel, and the paddle shift was also packed.

The electronic transmission is a dial type, and in the future there are buttons that appear to be related to the driver assistance system. As all are related to driving, the center console is tilted so that the driver can easily operate it. Next to it, two cup holders were applied, but the cover was not applied like the Grandeur. Behind it is the ventilation and heating of the first row seats, and the heated steering wheel operation button.

The wood trim applied to the center fascia is matte, contrasting with the periphery of the transmission with black high-gloss material, giving it a sense of weight. The quilting pattern was applied to the seat and door trim as well, so we tried to bring out the luxury.

Meanwhile, the K8 is expected to be released in March.
