Korean American golfer Kevin Na, 38, won the Sony Open at the PGA Tour. He overcame the fierce competition of more than 10 winners and achieved a total of 5 victories in 1 year and 3 months.

Kevin I reduced five strokes in the final round of the tournament held at the Waialay Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA on the 18th (Korean time), with a total of 21 under par, with Chris Kirk (USA) and Joaquin Neiman (Chile, 20 under par) with one stroke. I beat it and won. It was a total of 5 personal wins on the PGA Tour after 1 year and 3 months since the opening of Schreiners Children’s Hospital in October 2019. The winning prize was $1,188,000 (about 1.31 billion won).

Kevin I was in the final round with a tie for second place in the third round. Starting as a birdie on the second hole (par 4), he managed at-bats with consecutive par saves, and then added a birdie on the 9th hole (par 5) and played the 9 holes smoothly. Kevin, who made his first look at hole 12 (par 4), raised the mood again from hole 13. From this hole, he climbed to the top again with 3 consecutive birdies. While the lead in the third round, Brandon Steele (US 19-under-par), slumped without a birdie in the second half, only Chris Kirk and Joaquin Nee were in the air. However, Kevin I put the second shot on the 18th hole (par 5) at a distance of 8m and then recorded a birdie with 2 putts, ending the game without overtime. Kevin confirmed the championship. I was delighted to join hands with the caddy.

Among Korean players, Lee Gyeong-hoon was the highest ranked with a total of 15 under par 19th by reducing six strokes. Kim Si-woo reduced three strokes to 14-under par, tied for 25, Lim Sung-jae tied for 56th (9 under par), and Choi Gyeongju finished 71st (5 under par).
