(Seoul = Yonhap News) Reporter Shin Kyung-kyung = KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 21st that it has signed a’Comprehensive Business Agreement for Supporting the Korean Version of New Deal’ with the Korea Technology Guarantee Fund.
According to the agreement, the two organizations will discover and support companies that will lead the Korean version of the New Deal.
Targets of support include ▲ Digital New Deal companies ▲ Green New Deal companies ▲ employment stability and industrial safety innovation companies ▲ regional flagship industries and regulatory sandbox companies (exempt from existing regulations for a certain period of time).
KB Kookmin Bank contributes 10 billion won to the Korea Technology Guarantee Fund and provides preferential interest rates and support for guarantee fees to lower the financial cost burden on Korean New Deal-related companies. In addition, it plans to provide tax and accounting consulting and support services for hiring excellent personnel.
Based on the special contribution of KB Kookmin Bank, the Technology Guarantee Fund provides a guarantee of 500 billion won with preferential guarantee rate and guarantee rate, and also supports investment and technology transfer to strengthen technological competitiveness.
