Trot singer Kang Seung-yeon, who gained popularity as’Mistrot’, is regretting the fact that he was sexually harassed by a former manager.
On the 5th, Kang Seung-yeon appeared on the YouTube broadcast’Late Night Sindang’ hosted by actor Jung Ho-geun on the 5th and was shocked by exposing the sexual harassment incidents during the entertainment industry.
Kang Seung-yeon revealed his family history and said, “The family was difficult, so I started working alone without someone helping me to become a singer. I went to sing and met the company, but there were too many drinking places.”
He confessed, “It was a one-on-one contract with the manager, not with the right entertainment contract. There were times when I had to stay in a motel-like place near the event venue that was ridiculously far away, but the manager came into the room and tried to do something terrible.
“At that time, I was 22 years old. I was so scared that I thought I would jump.”
After the broadcast, Seung-yeon Kang said on his Instagram “I went to the’Late Night Sindang’. I’m so nervous to talk about me that I don’t know what I’m talking about.” He revealed his impressions of appearance.
Kang Seung-yeon, born in 1997, received attention by participating in the college department of the TV Chosun audition program’Mistrot’ in 2019. Recently, he participated in the KBS2 audition program’Trot National Sports Festival’ and is gaining popularity.
Kang Seung-yeon runs a YouTube channel’Yoni Yoni’ and communicates with fans through videos that cover the songs of popular singers such as Trot singers Lim Young-woong and Young-tak.
