Responding to the arguments made by Kang, the Korea Disease Administration refuted that it was not true.
“It is a prepayment for joint purchase of a vaccine of 20 million doses rather than a risk-bearing deposit, and a contract is concluded only when a prepayment is made to sign a contract,” said an official from the Agency for Disease Control. said.
The official said, “At the time when COVAX Facility selected the Corona 19 vaccine, it was selected in consideration of the possibility of developing the vaccine after a meeting of the Vaccine Introduction Advisory Committee.”
