[에너지경제신문 안효건 기자] KakaoTalk has a feature that allows you to show different profiles depending on the partner.
Kakao is reported to have launched a trial release of the Kakao Talk’Multi-Profile’ function on the 28th. Multi-profile is a function that allows you to create up to three additional profiles in addition to the default profile, and you can apply different profiles according to the opponent.
This means that you can set up a profile that suits various relationships such as work, lovers, and family.
Multi-profile can be used only after signing up for’KakaoTalk Wallet’ and then authenticating. You can create a new profile by going to the’Multi-Profile’ area in the KakaoTalk’Friends’ tab and pressing the’+’ button.
To specify the profile you want to display for each friend, click the’Manage Friends’ button under the’Multi-Profile’ area, or select the profile you want to show in the friend profile window. Users who haven’t added friends will see a default profile as before.
Kakao said, “It reflects the voices of users that they need to set up and expose profiles suitable for each relationship rather than one Kakao Talk profile, interacting with others in a variety of relationships.” It was reported that the user’s lifestyle and KakaoTalk usability were analyzed in various ways.”
After the pilot introduction of Kakao Talk, it will gradually expand its target to all users.
On the other hand,’bouquet’ is a term used mainly in games and is an abbreviation for sub-characters that are nurtured separately in addition to core characters. As it expands to various entertainment programs and daily life, it is used as a term referring to a case of deviating from a new appearance rather than the usual one.
